About Justin
Originally from Louisiana, Justin received his Executive MBA from Louisiana State University. After completing his collegiate baseball career, Justin focused on golf. He worked closely with Jim McLean as he managed the Jim McLean Golf Center – Texas for thirteen years. He also developed the Jim McLean Junior Academy. He is now a Royal Instructor for Crown Golf. Justin was awarded Teacher and Coach of the Year by the NTPGA for 2020.

- Players have qualified for the following USGA events: US Men’s and Women’s Open, US Men’s and Women’s Amateur, US Men’s and Women’s Public Links, US Junior Boys and Girls, and US Women’s Four Ball
- Student became the 10th player in Tour history to earn an automatic PGA TOUR promotion
- Student was the Web.com Tour Player of the Year
- Student won the US Women’s Amateur
- Student won Mexican Women’s Amateur
- Two students were part of US Women’s Four Ball Championship Team
- Student won the Latin America Amateur Championship
- Student was the US Girls’ Junior Runner-Up
- Students have also won notable amateur and junior events, including the Pacific Northwest Men’s Amateur Championship, Women’s Western Amateur, Ontario Women’s Amateur, British Columbia Women’s Amateur, AJGA Thunderbird, Junior PGA, Canadian Junior Girls, collegiate and AJGA events
- Led two players to the Texas 5A Girls’ State Title
- Coached two National High School Coaches Association’s National High School Senior Athlete of the Year
- Coached a four-time Oklahoma state champion, one of only two in its 82 year history
- Helped numerous players receive college scholarships
- Developed the Jim McLean Junior Academy, a 9 month residential training program for junior golfers
- Observed many top teachers such as Jackie Burke Jr., Carl Welty, Ben Doyle, and Martin Hall
- Spent significant time with sport psychologists Dr. Matt Johnson, Dr. Dean Hinitz, and mental coaches Lanny and Troy Bassham
- Appeared on The Morning Drive for the Golf Channel, Golf Central, The Turn for the Golf Channel, Making the Turn with Peter Kessler, and Fox Sports Chevy Hometown Kids
- Worked at Baton Rouge Country Club, a prestigious club in Louisiana
- Selected as Golf Range Top 50 Instructor
